ProAm started out as Athlete Advantage Medical 2018 and quickly became the leading provider of state athletic commission required pre fight medicals for Professional boxing and MMA athletes. Our extensive nationwide network includes 100’s of medical providers and resources including Lab Corp and Concentra, dedicated to providing our combat sports athletes and fight promotions with expedited exam services.
Fighter Examinations are conducted to ALL state athletic commission and governing sport organization requirements, completed on the appropriate forms, by the appropriate physician, in an efficient and cost effective manner. Examinations are scheduled around a fighters training and event schedule. Our pre-negotiated rates ensure the fighter is paying the lowest rates available for the required examinations and receives preferential scheduling consideration.
Exams conducted at our Las Vegas practice location include Physical Exams, Ophthalmologic Exams, Neurological Exams, X-ray, and EKG. Imaging and Labs are completed by our preferred providers Desert Radiology and Labcorp at multiple convenient locations.
For examinations outside of Nevada, ProAm has established a nationwide network of appropriate medical providers who will conduct the examinations on our behalf at pre negotiated reduced rates. ProAm can manage and conduct the required medicals and licensing for each fight card, nationwide, all scheduled by ProAm.
ProAm provides nationwide lab services through our Labcorp Medical Provider Account at the lowest rates available with no third party mark up and results typically within 24 hours.
It was Athlete Advantage Medical’s extensive involvement and recognition in the fight community that led many of these athletes to reach out to us for treatment to their injuries and influenced us to provide injury treatment services, thus rebranding ourselves as ProAm.
ProAm is actively involved in providing increased medical services to this athletic segment for increased health and safety including more thorough concussion protocols and treatment that are applied to other high impact sports such as American Football, Bull Riding, and Hockey.
ProAm offers discounted exam, injury treatment, and performance improvement rates for uninsured fighters.
