ProAm’s healthcare membership program called “Patient Power” is perfect for the uninsured or underinsured, small businesses, self-employed and avoids the high monthly premiums, additional fees such as co-pays, deductibles, and appointment delays often associated with health insurance, taking away some of the restraints often associated with treatment through health insurance. ProAm will also periodically post special discounts and programs featured by other Las Vegas medical providers for the benefit of our patients.

As your primary care provider and through Patient Power, our goal is to empower our patients with their health and encourage them to be proactive with any health-related issues by providing them with timely and effective treatment. Some medical issues may require immediate attention but not necessarily a trip to the emergency room, which is why we also offer same day appointments; and while treats a current medical issue, primary care provides both preventive medicine, treatment, and a cure for underlying medical issues. Our program covers both.

Can I sign up if I already have my own insurance?
Yes but the annual fee for our program or any auxiliary medical treatment fees provided by ProAm cannot be applied to your deductible. The program is intended to provide healthcare coverage for the uninsured. Patients facing ongoing or significant injury/health issues are better served being treated through their own health insurance. ProAm will advise the patient on the most appropriate course of treatment specific to each patient’s needs. Utilization of insurance and referral require an appropriate and uninterrupted course of treatment.
Does Patient Power replace health insurance?
We encourage everyone to have health insurance if not to only ensure you are covered in case of a serious medical issue or accident and to address any ongoing health concerns requiring a specialty medical provider. Patient Power does not replace insurance but does ensure that everyone has access to affordable healthcare for minor injury and illness as needed.
Why did we develop Patient Power?
Ensuring our patients receive appropriate medical care in a timely manner and are living their healthiest life is our highest priority but oftentimes uninsured patients or patients with high deductibles will prolong treatment for economic reasons. There is also the stigma that seeing a doctor is always going to be expensive which prevents patients from being proactive with their health.
How often can I use Patient Power?
Active members can use patient Power as often as they like. We want our patients to be proactive with their health as well as to address minor health issues in a timely manner before they become more advanced.
